Organised companies have a secret. It's simple. You need to work to a system, and as soon as you employ more than one person, you need to document what the system is. This means writing procedures, which nobody wants to do because there's always something more important and interesting to do, and the process often shows up the fact that nobody knows what the system is - they just do what seems sensible.

Having a system has enable companies like McDonalds to employ low-skilled staff yet provide the same levels of service all over the world. You'd be surprised how many companies do not have detailed procedures for what they do.

At Logical Office we employ two types of worker. The first type is human - the old carbon-base life form - which we all know and love. The second type is robotic - not physical but virtual in the form of our Logical Worker program. Because our virtual Logical Worker cannot think for himself he/she/it needs a very detailed set of procedures, without any ambiguity or room for initiative. We call these procdures WorkPlans.

The good news is that Logical Worker, unlike some carbon-types, is very reliable, and doesn't get bored doing the same old job day in day out. Not only that, but he/she/it doesn't go sick, take holidays, or get paid - so is low maintenance.

Logical Office therefore provides a great basis for running a system where the computer integrates totally with the human workers to make things work more smoothly. By having defined procedures doubt is eliminated.

Logical Office's "action list" means you can define exactly when to call back a customer based on the particular situation e.g. "call back today", or "call back in a week". So by working to a system, you deliver a similar service all the time.
